Gardener / Landscaper

Job Description

•  The  Gardener is responsible for maintaining gardens and/or landscaped areas. Duties include planting and maintaining garden plants while monitoring the health of plants.
• A successful Gardener enjoys working outdoors and has a strong understanding of plant care. They don't mind getting dirty and doing the manual labor required to maintain a garden. Being a Gardener requires patience to see things grow and nurse them back to health.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planting of all types of plants including flowers, shrubs and trees
• Maintaining plants by watering, fertilizing, and trimming them
• Using and maintaining gardening tools and light gardening machinery
• Identifying and treating diseases, pest infestations, and other issues with garden plants
• Cleaning up garden areas
• Providing recommendations for gardens
• Handling edging, mulching, and other garden tasks
• Following safety guidelines for applying chemical and using equipment

Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

Salary:  From $13 per hour (based on experience)
