Grade 70 XHD¿3/8-in. x 10-ft. chain assembly is an ideal choice for heavy-duty tie-down tasks. Built with strong carbon alloy steel¿and finished with zinc-plated gold chromate for¿resistance against rust and corrosion, the chain assembly is¿extremely durable. Having been heat-treated, the assembly is also 100% proof-tested to twice its original working load limit for a total WLL of¿6,600 lbs. Oversized grade 80 clevis hooks provide improved strength over grade 70 construction and are similarly heat-treated for¿improved performance, while¿increased material in the neck of the hook helps to reduce¿cracking due to trapped side pulls.¿The grade 70 XHD 3/8-in. x¿10-ft. chain assembly with grade 80 clevis hooks is¿made to NACM standards per specifications of the Department of Transportation & CCMTA for tie-down use with properly marked links¿and aluminum tags with stamped WLL information.
